1 Description It occurs as a colourless, oily liquid, very hygroscopic.
2 Identification
Test (A)
(A) It gives a reaction of Sulfate.
3 Solubility It is miscible with water and with alcohol with the generation of much heat.
4 Specific Gravity About 1.84.
5 Residue on Ignition Not more than 2 mg of residue remains (0.005%).
6 Chloride Not more than 50 ppm.
7 Arsenic Not more than 1 ppm.
8 Reducing Substances The solution remains pink for 5 min.
9 Assay Not less than 95.0% and not more than 98.0%.

PACKAGING

MOLACID® SUL is packed in HDPE drum or IBC packing having Bar-coded label.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 5 years. Preserve in well-closed containers.
