Application: MOLACID® SUCLAU is used as a non-ionic emulsifier, surfactant, solubilizer and stabilizing agent in pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulations. It is incorporated into creams, lotions, gels, ointments, emulsions, oral formulations and personal care products to improve product stability, texture, dispersion and ingredient delivery.

SPECIFICATION

1 Appearance It occurs as a white to greyish white or pale-yellow powder.
2 Fatty acids A yellowish white solid or oil formed, which has no odour of isobutyric acid, and which dissolves when 3ml of diethyl ether are added.
3 Sugar The boundary surface of the two layers turns blue or green.
4 Sulfated Ash (at 600℃) Not more than 2%.
5 Acid Value Not more than 6.
6 Lead Not more than 2 mg/kg.
7 Arsenic Not more than 0.3%.
8 Water Content by KF Not more than 4%.
9 Assay (sucrose ester) Not less than 80.0%.

PACKAGING

MOLACID® SUCLAU is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. Preserve in a well-closed container. Protect from humidity and avoid high temperatures.
