Applications: MOLACID® SUCC is used in the pharmaceutical industry as a chemical intermediate, acidulant, buffering agent and pH regulator. It is used in tablets and capsules to adjust pH and support formulation stability and for preparing succinate salts. It may be used in powders, granules and selected parenteral formulations as a buffering or pH-control component. It is also used to prepare succinate salts and ester derivatives that can modify drug solubility, dissolution or stability. In oral solutions and syrups, it helps maintain the desired pH and may contribute to formulation stability and taste.
