3 Solubility It is miscible with water and with alcohol.
4 Chloride Not more than 0.1%.
5 Cyanide Not more than 5 mg/kg.
6 Iron Not more than 10 mg/kg.
7 Lead Not more than 0.5 mg/kg.
8 Sulfate Not more than 0.25 %.
9 Limit of Citric, Oxalic, Phosphoric, or Tartaric Acid The solution does not become turbid.
10 Residue on ignition Not more 0.1%.
11 Sugars Specified test. No red precipitate is formed.
12 Assay Not less than 95.0% and not more than 105.0% of the labeled concentration of C3H6O3.

PACKAGING

MOLACID® LAC is packed in HDPE Drum or IBC Packing having bar-coded label.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. It is stored in a tightly closed container in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from incompatible substances such as oxidizing agents.
