Applications: MOLACID® LAC is used in the pharmaceutical industry as a pH regulator, chiral intermediate and formulation aid. It is also used as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of pharmaceutical and specialty compounds. It can react with certain basic or poorly soluble active ingredients to form lactate salts with improved water solubility.
