Applications: MOLACID® CYS is used in the pharmaceutical industry as a chemical intermediate, reducing agent, antioxidant and nutritional amino-acid component. It may be used in oral nutritional preparations, powders, tablets, capsules and specialized amino-acid formulations. It is also used for the synthesis of sulfur-containing pharmaceutical intermediates and active compounds. Its thiol (-SH) group provides reducing properties, helping control oxidation in suitable formulations and pharmaceutical processes.

7 Loss on drying Not more than 0.5%.
8 Residue on ignition Not more than 0.10%.
9 Assay Not less than 98.0% to not more than 101.0%.

PACKAGING

MOLACID® CYS is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. Preserve in well-closed containers.
