Applications: MOLACID® LASP is a natural amino acid used in pharmaceuticals as a nutritional component, synthesis intermediate and formulation excipient. It include oral powders, tablets, capsules and specialized nutritional formulations. As a formulation aid, it can contribute to pH control, buffering and stabilization in selected preparations. It provides an amino-acid source for protein synthesis and normal nitrogen metabolism in nutritional formulations. It is also used as a chemical intermediate for the preparation of pharmaceutical compounds and amino-acid derivatives.
