It is commonly incorporated into creams, lotions, serums, gels, and topical preparations intended to help reduce hyperpigmentation, age spots, melasma, and uneven skin tone. It is also utilized in specialty skincare formulations requiring high-purity kojic acid.

1 Appearance It occurs as almost white crystalline powder.
2 Melting point 152°C to 156°C.
3 LOD at 105°C for 3 hours Not more than 1.0%.
4 Chloride Not more than 100 ppm.
5 Ignition Residue Not more than 0.2%.
6 Assay Not less than 99.0%.

PACKAGING

MOLACID® KOJ is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. Preserve in well-closed containers.
