3 Solubility It is soluble in 25 parts of water, slightly soluble in hot alcohol and soluble in diluted mineral acids and in alkaline solutions.
4 Lead Not more than 5 mg/kg.
5 Loss on Drying Not more than 0.3%.
6 Optical (Specific) Rotation Between +38.6° and +41.5°, calculated on the dried basis; or 25°: Between +38.2° and +41.1°, calculated on the dried basis.
7 Residue on Ignition Not more than 0.2%.
8 Assay Not less than 98.5% to not more than 101.5% of C6H13NO2, calculated on the dried basis.

PACKAGING

MOLACID® IL is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.

The shelf life is 3 years. Preserve in well-closed containers.
