Application: MOLACID® GLU is used as a chelating agent, pH-adjusting agent, stabilizer and intermediate in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical formulations. It is also used in oral liquid preparations, electrolyte supplements, beverages, specialty nutrition products and related formulations to improve stability, mineral bioavailability and overall product performance.

1 Appearance It occurs as color is slight yellow to brown color clear liquid.
2 Solubility It is miscible in all proportions with water, with ethanol.
3 Arsenic Not more than 2 ppm.
4 Chloride Not more than 1000 ppm.
5 Heavy Metals Not more than 20 ppm.
6 Sulfates Not more than 1000 ppm.
7 Reducing Sugars (%) Not more than 1.0%.
8 Assay (%) Between 50.0 ±1.0%.

PACKAGING

MOLACID® GLU is packed in HDPE drum or IBC packing having bar-coded label.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. Preserve in tight containers.
