1 Description It occurs as a colorless, odorless scales of a somewhat pearly luster, or crystals or white powder that is slightly unctuous to the touch.
2 Identification
Test (A)
(A) It gives reaction of borate.
3 Solubility It is freely soluble in glycerin, in boiling water and in boiling alcohol; soluble in water and in alcohol.
4 Loss on drying Not more than 0.5%.
5 Solubility in alcohol It dissolves completely.
6 Completeness of solution It produces a clear solution.
7 Assay Not less than 99.5% and not more than 100.5% of boric acid (H3BO3), calculated on the dried basis.

PACKAGING

MOLACID® BOR is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 5 years. Preserve in well-closed containers.
